Paleo Quiche Recipes

Paleo friendly quiches are surprisingly easy to make: just substitute all-purpose flour with coconut flour or almond flour and leave out any dairy products like cheese or milk.
Quiches go for breakfast lunch or dinner.

Paleo Quiche Crust with Almond Flour

6 servings / 9-inch pie pan

Ingredients:

  • 1-1/2 cups almond flour
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to in 350 F (175 C)
  2. Stir all ingredients together in a small bowl. Mix until well combined.
  3. Press crust mixture into greased pie pan.
  4. Bake for about 15 minutes until lightly brown.

Paleo Quiche Crust with Coconut Flour

6 servings / 9-inch pie pan

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup ghee or grass fed butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup coconut flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to in 350 F (175 C)
  2. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Pat into a greased pie pan
  4. Prick the dough with a fork
  5. Bake for 10 minutes until lightly brown.

  • Spinach
  • Sausage
  • Bacon / Turkey Bacon
  • Ham
  • Shallots / Onions
  • Tomato
  • Bell Pepper
  • Asparagus
  • Zucchini

Quiche Instructions

Ingredients:

  • 1 Precooked and cooled Pie Crust (see instructions at the beginning of the post)
  • Preferred toppings
  • 4 Eggs
  • ½ cup Coconut Milk
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • pinch of Black Pepper

– Prepare the crust
– Add preferred toppings to the cooled quiche crust.
– Prepare Egg mixture: Mix eggs, coconut milk and seasoning in a large bowl.
– Pour the egg mixture over all the toppings
– Heat the oven to 350 F. (175 C.), bake for 25-30 minutes


Paleo Quiche on a Pan (without Crust)

2 Servings

Ingredients:

  • 5 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp ghee or grass fed butter
  • 1 garlic glove, chopped
  • 1 shallot, chopped
  • 1 bunch of spinach
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Coconut Milk or water
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Other seasoning to taste

Instructions:

  1. Whisk the Eggs in a bowl, add chopped parsley, garlic, coconut milk (or water), salt and pepper
  2. Heat an oven safe frying pan on medium heat, add ghee (or butter)
  3. Add chopped shallot to the pan and saute
  4. Add spinach and cook for a few minutes
  5. Pour the egg mixture from the bowl to the pan, mix
  6. Reduce heat and let cook for about 10 minutes
  7. Turn on oven broiler to low. Move the pan to the oven and broil for 5 minutes.
  8. Remove the quiche from oven, let cool for a few minutes and enjoy!
